Crystal Ski Holidays was founded in 1981 as a specialist holiday company taking UK customers to Europe’s lakes and mountains in the summer and ski resorts in the winter.

Over the next 15 years the company grew rapidly, and by the 1990s had become the largest ski operator in the UK; a position Crystal Ski still hold today. Crystal was acquired by Thomson Holidays in 1997. A decade later, following the merger of Thomson with First Choice Holidays, Crystal Ski became part of the TUI Group – meaning your holiday is backed by one of the world’s largest travel companies.
