First Choice No deposit holidays for 2021 are back, book with £0 – no – nil deposit, using First Choice direct debit scheme. When checking the First Choice website, we found that the First Choice no deposit scheme is now back – No deposit holidays are valid on holidays departing from March 2021. First Choice T&Cs Apply. There is no extra charge for using the First Choice no deposit holiday direct debit scheme.

The most common questions asked regarding the direct debit scheme are:

  • What packages are eligible?
    In order to be eligible for Direct Debit, your holiday booking needs to be made at least 182 days – 26 weeks – before departure. Direct Debit is available on most holidays.
  • Can I choose the amount of instalments?
    No, the amount of instalments is calculated automatically based on the date of your booking and the departure date. There’ll be a minimum of three instalments.
  • When is the last payment due?
    The last payment is due 98 days before departure. Just so you know, this is two weeks earlier than the standard booking terms.
  • Can I make any ad-hoc payments, even though I’m paying by Direct Debit?
    Yes. You can make payments through First Choice website and Contact Centres – your Direct Debit payments will be recalculated accordingly. You can’t make payments in TUI Holiday Stores.

First Choice 2021 holidays £0 no deposits are only available for selected First Choice holidays, so remember to check before you confirm your booking. To opt in, a Direct Debit needed to be set up before the booking was confirmed. Please remember to look for the option for your no deposit holiday, the option will look like the graphic below saying “pay nothing today”.

First Choice No Deposit Holidays

If you pay by Direct Debit, First Choice holidays will provide you with a confirmation setting out the payment amounts and due dates. The Tour Operator deposit value is due if the booking or Direct Debit is cancelled before instalments are paid.

First Choice Direct Debit Main Booking Terms and Conditions
If you pay by direct debit First Choice will provide you with a confirmation setting out the payment amounts and due dates by which these payments will be made by you. The bank account from which the direct debit payments are to be taken must be in the name of the lead passenger on the booking.

Failed Payments. In the event of two failed attempts to collect any direct debit payment First Choice will cancel the direct debit mandate and you will be required to make payment by another method. If this happens you will need to pay the balance due 12 weeks before you travel. If you cancel your direct debit you must inform First Choice promptly so First Choice can arrange an alternative payment method with you. If you have chosen to pay by direct debit and a zero or low deposit is payable you will be still required to pay the full deposit even if you do not make payments, and either you cancel your holiday or First Choice cancel due to non-payment.

 

Great deals with First Choice for 2021 holidays

If you make changes to your booking First Choice standard amendment fees will apply and the following scenarios could happen;

Increase holiday cost – If there are any fees due immediately, such as the amendment fee, you will need to pay them at the point the amendment is made. Any other additional costs which are due to be paid at the final balance date will be added to your Direct Debit schedule and the monthly payments will be recalculated.
Reduced holiday cost – Your Direct Debit schedule will be updated and the monthly payments will reduce to reflect the new balance.
Later departure date – If you move your holiday to a later date then your Direct Debit will still be valid and the monthly payments will recalculate.
Closer departure date – If you move your holiday to a closer date, then your Direct Debit might not be valid and you may be required to pay the full balance of the holiday, dependent on how far away the new departure date is.

What packages are eligible?

Which holidays is direct debit available on?
Direct Debit is available on all First Choice beach holidays. It’s not available on First Choice Multi Centres, TUI Ireland holidays, Crystal Ski holidays or flight only bookings.
I want to add Premium Seats/Select Your Seat/Late check-out on to my booking. What will happen to my Direct Debit?
The cost will be added to the Direct Debit and recalculated automatically, as long as your departure date is still outside of 98 days.
What happens if no deposit is not available?
You may then qualify for low deposit – Offer applies to new bookings only, on selected package holidays from £50 per person on short and mid haul holidays and from £125 per person on long haul holidays for holidays departing 1st May 2021 – 31st October 2021.

£200 per person for short haul beach holidays
£200 per person for mid haul beach holidays
£250 per person for long haul beach holidays

When booking you will be required to pay now for any insurance you have taken out and may be required to pay now for third party flights and certain accommodation. In all circumstances First Choice cancellation charges will apply.

As you are paying by direct debit, you do not have to pay the balance due for your holiday 12 weeks before you go. Your direct debit payments will be arranged so that the balance is paid 6 weeks before you go on holiday. If you cancel the direct debit at any time you will need to pay the balance due 12 weeks before you travel.

First Choice standard cancellation charges will apply and if you have not made enough direct debit payments at the time you cancel you will need to pay First Choice any balance due. If you have paid more than the amount due under our cancellation charges at the time of cancellation, First Choice will refund you any difference.
