The TUI 787 Dreamliner carries 291 passengers. Premium Club will seat 47 in a 2-3-2 configuration, each with a 38” pitch, and Economy Club will seat 244 in a 3-3-3 configuration, each with an industry leading 33” or 34” pitch.

TUI Airways will take delivery of eight Boeing 787 Dreamliners in total. TUI Airways will operate the Dreamliner from Manchester, East Midlands, Stanstead, Glasgow, Doncaster, London Gatwick, Bristol and Birmingham

The TUI Dreamliner will speed along at around 600mph. It has a range of 8000 miles meaning it could fly from London to New York and back Non Stop. The Dreamliner is also 20% more fuel efficient than similar sized planes and creates 60% less noise.

The TUI Dreamliner is designed for long-haul trips with a reduced cabin pressure of 6,000ft – compared to normal 8,000ft. This will hopefully leave passengers and crew less fatigued and more relaxed.

Among the Dreamliner’s features is its state of the art mood lighting, to recreate the sunrise and sunset of the customer’s destination. Also featured within the Thomson Dreamliner are, wider seats and higher humidity levels in the cabin designed, to reduce the effects of jet lag.

Regardless of cabin class (economy or club class), all long-haul flights with TUI will include meals and soft drinks, hot drinks, and some alcoholic drinks (except Champagne) are free of charge. TUI Premium Club passengers enjoy a four-course dinner, while economy class passengers enjoy a three-course meal

TUI Airways, was the first in the UK to fly the new state of the art Boeing 787 Dreamliner as part of its fleet in 2013.

13 TUI Dreamliner will join the TUI Travel fleet with airlines TUIfly Nordic, Arkefly and Jetairfly also taking delivery of this new aircraft.
